I hired Lawrence for garden landscaping/patio paving. We agreed a cost and start date 30/04/21. He said the work would be completed within 4 days but it wasn't started until week after. The work is not finished to a satisfactory standard. He left 2 large crates of rubbish on my porch and gravel outside my front gate spilling out onto the lane and never bothered coming to pick it up. Lawrence then realised that he under quoted me for the job and now does not answer my calls and says he is sending someone to finish it and clear the awful mess but they never turn up. This was ongoing for 3 weeks. Totally unprofessional. I am really annoyed and stressed. I cannot use my garden and is a hazard for my little child. I am so disappointed in the lack of professionalism and communication displayed by him. finally answered my calls agreed a compensation and never heard from Lawrence again. It is almost June and I still don't have any money from him. Am pursuing legally.
Unfinished job, constant lies, threatening behaviour
Review would've been posted early April, but Lawrence's constant lies to fix issues/reimburse us delayed this. Loads of bad reviews recently make sense now! Summary: EasyGrout swept into patio slabs without water, cracking/crumbling already. £4.5k driveway damaged with mortar/oil stains, jet washed cement/stones on front lawn. Slabs moving, as wacker not used all over. Turf unfinished. Begged for money constantly. Threatened pregnant person he'll take what's his referring to slabs if bad review left. Trading Standards will be called Monday.
